Gay Republican of the Week

Despite all evidence, there may still be a few members of the GOP who have retained their human souls. ---
Missouri legislator Zachary Wyatt, R-Novinger, recently came out in opposition to state House Bill 2051 -- and came out, himself, in the process.
Wyatt is reported in a press statement as saying, "I will not lie to myself anymore about my own sexuality. I am still the same person that I was when I woke up this morning and I will be the same person when I go to bed tonight. Today I ask you to stand with me as a proud Republican, a proud veteran and a proud gay man who wants to protect all kids addressing bullying in our schools.”
HB-2051, the state's idiotic "Don't Say Gay" bill, would make it illegal for Missouri public-school teachers to mention the words "gay" and "lesbian" in class, or to speak out against bullying.
Wyatt is to be commended for his courage. And also, for a gay Republican, he's kinda cute.
