Glad You Asked: Black Keys, Nerds and Bikes

Dear GYA, I'm still out here campaignin'! But I gotta say, being a Libertarian can be tough sometimes since I refuse to ask for help from anyone. Yup, a man should pull himself up by his own bootstraps and have some dignity! That being said, since it would be against my core beliefs to ask for campaign donations, I've decided to save money by traveling in a small canoe that I've fashioned out of bark and trash can lids. I'll be in your city eventually -- anything happening?- Ron Paul---
Oh, Ronald, I respect that you're sticking to your principles and not asking for donations, you know, because it would be pretty hypocritical if you did. Anyways, here are some things going down today that you may enjoy:
Bust out your skinny jeans and Ray-Bans, because the Grammy award-winning garage-rock revivalists The Black Keys will be playing tonight at The Maverik Center. Tickets are going for $32- $52 not including a crap ton of fees. These guys had better be sweet.
If you've got a need for the geekiest trivia in all the land, then check out Big Shiny Geek Show Trivia at Lucky 13. Hosted by City Weekly columnist Bryan Young and Geek Show Podcast's Shannon Barnson, this free-to-enter quiz event will surely have you wanting to know more about Star Wars concept art. The quizzin' starts at 8 p.m.
Sick of shelling out the cash for a bicycle tune-up? Wanna roll up your sleeves and do it your self, damn it?! Then head over to Wasatch Touring for the free bike-maintenance class. Every Wednesday from 6-7 p.m., the techs over at Wasatch Tour will give pointers and answer even the stupidest of questions.

- The final installment of the CIRCUS Film Series will be showing at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts at 6 p.m.
