Dear GYA, Aw, man, I'm planning the craziest Easter party. First, I'm gonna drop the eggs in the dye. Then I 'll drop 'em outside in different spots. And finally, after a huge build up, I'm gonna drop a line to all my fans to come over and look for 'em. Anyways, anything going down today that I could drop? - Skrillex---

Skrillex, I'm glad to hear that you're not just dropping bass anymore. Dropping Easter eggs could be the next big thing for you. I would stop making music and focus on that. In terms of things going on today, we've got plenty.

I would tone it down a bit and check out Mike Doughty at the State Room. He used to be in the band Soul Coughing, but is now touring solo and showcasing a performance that blends coffeehouse guitar riffs, taking breaks to read from his book and, of course, an audience Q&A. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are going for $17.

Or if your not in the mood to sit in silence, then go yell at some Jazz players as they take on the Phoenix Suns at 7 p.m. If you plan ahead, you can still grab some of those $8 nosebleed seats, which really aren't that bad when coupled with roughly 4-6 beers.

If you want to take your screaming up a notch then head over to Burt's Tiki Lounge and check out the metal heads Witchburn. Some have said they're a combination of Red Wine and Black Sabbath. But City Weekly Online Editor  Bill Frost has described them as "Stoner Metal." Word has it, he'll be in the mosh pit. The show starts at 9 p.m.

Other noteworthy events:

- Rappers Big B, Bliss & Eso and Burn will all be performing at The Urban Lounge at 9 p.m.

- At 9:30 p.m., The Republican will be hosting Pub Quiz trivia night.

- Book signing with Carol Anshaw at King's English Bookshop beginning at 7 p.m.
