When one book shuts, another opens. Eborn Books, which bills itself as the "world’s largest supplier of Mormon titles" has begun moving into the space on Main Street formerly occupied by Sam Weller's Bookstore.---

Eborn Books, which stocks new, used and rare books and also publishes historical books about the LDS faith, currently has six locations from Provo to Ogden, including one at 175 W. 200 South, just a short walk away from Main Street. It seems likely that location will be closing. A call to the store was not answered.

Sam Weller's last day at 254 S. Main was Dec. 24, 2011; Tony Weller's new store, Weller Book Works, opened in Trolley Square in early January. Despite years-long clearance sales on Weller's massive inventory, many books still remained inside the Main Street location after the move. A Weller clerk said that those books were sold to Eborn.
