Through the month of February, women are being asked to share their experiences about life as a woman in Salt Lake City through a unique online survey.---

The survey is being conducted in part with the city’s human Right’s Commission’s Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, or CEDAW.

CEDAW is an international agreement seeking accurate information about the lives of women around the world to make sure gender equality is maintained and encouraged. The short online survey asks only 34 questions of Salt Lake City women and covers such areas as health, education, public safety, politics and more.

So, if you are a female Salt Laker, speak up and add your voice to this important survey, which can be found online here. The survey will not be available after Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012.
