Things are really heating up for the holidays at South Ogden's Zucca Trattoria, which will be the staging area for a number of exciting holiday-season dinners. ---

First up, on Tuesday, Dec. 20, Cristiano Creminelii, Marco Stevanoni, Matt Caputo and Zucca chef/owner Elio Scanu will team up for Natale Super Italiano, a five-course feast featuring classic Italian dishes paired with premium Italian wines. The menu looks awesome. Click here to check it out. The cost is $50 per person for food and $25 for the optional wine pairings.

Then, from Wednesday, Dec. 21 through Saturday, Dec. 24, Zucca will offer the Feast of the Seven Fishes seafood dinner, celebrating Southern Italy's Vigilia di Natale. Guests can select from a complete seven-course menu for $60 (minimum 2 persons) or select from one of two smaller menus, priced at $30 and $40 per person. Click here to view the Feast of the Seven Fishes menu.

Zucca Trattoria will also host a New Year's Eve dinner on Dec. 31 with a menu featuring seasonal oysters and caviar, "three-way" foie gras, duck consomme, sous-vide short ribs and honey-crisp apple beignet for $85 per person and $45 for optional wine pairings. Click here to view the New Year's Eve menu.

Finally, if you'd rather stay at home to enjoy the holidays and not cook, Zucca is offering customized Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve dinner menus to go -- to take out and enjoy at home. Click here to see the menu options.
