Your first November Hump Day comes with cowboys, rapping tunas and assorted weirdness for your perusal.---

The Urban Lounge is hosting a whale of a hip-hop show headlined by the classic Jurassic 5 vet Chali 2Na and his House of Vibe band. The gig starts at 9 p.m., and includes partners in rhyme MTHDS, Johnny Polygon and Cave Light Captains, as well.

The 17th Annual Cowboy Gathering and Buckaroo Fair kicks off with an awesome bit of cowboy cuisine Wednesday night at the Midway Town Hall.

The Utah Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley City is hosting a Day of the Dead Celebration with food, crafts and kids' activities, starting at 6 p.m.

And if you're up in Ogden, the Ogden Nature Center is teaching kids why trees change colors with a special program at 3:30 p.m. The event is called Trees: Nature's Natural Timekeepers.
