Lounge Act Monday: Halloween Hootenannys, all night long

Hmm, how to celebrate Halloween when it falls on a Monday? I'd suggest treating it like the weekend. Here's how.---
You could head over to The Depot for the Dead or Alive party featuring one of the legendary rappers of the past two decades in Method Man. Not only is he arguably the best lyricist of the Wu-Tang Clan, Method is also a pretty actor and a fine solo artist. And when he teams up with his buddy Redman on songs like "Da Rockwilder," it's niiiiiice. The show starts at 9 p.m. Over at The Complex, it's another hip-hop show, this one featuring West Coast gangsta offspring The Game.
If you're up in Park City, head to Downstairs, where Jr. and the Transportation are doing a Doors tribute for the Halloween party. The Urban Lounge back here in SLC has a killer double bill, courtesy of Laserfang and Spell Talk, starting at 9 p.m. And Liquid Joe's has a killer of a triple bill featuring Royal Bliss, King Niko and The Suicycles. The State Room is hosting a rootsy show courtesy of Marinade and Stonefed.
Golden Braid Books is hosting a special Halloween edition psychic fair all day long, and all their Halloween goodies are on sale, too.
