All you King Crimson fans will definitely want to make your way to The Depot Wednesday night for the Adrian Belew Power Trio, with the guitarist (pictured) delivering all kinds of tasty axe mayhem.

Sam Weller's bookstore hosts Gerald Elias, a Utah Symphony musician and mystery author who will be reading from and signing copies of his new book, Death and the Maiden. The event starts at 6 p.m.

Salt Lake Acting Company's production of God of Carnage starts its run Wednesday night with a preview performance at 7:30 p.m.

The Utah Film Center hosts a screening of The Last Mimzy at the Sorenson Unity Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

And finally, all you ski-movie geeks will want to make tracks to Gracie's, where the City Weekly Street Team is hosting a premiere party in anticipation of the new Warren Miller flick, ...Like There's No Tomorrow. You can win all kinds of prizes, including snowboards, cameras and passes to local ski resorts, just for showing up. The party gets started at 7 p.m.
