From politicians to Heisman Trophy winners and '80s refugees, Wednesday has a little humpday action for all tastes.---

The King's English is hosting author Garth Stein for a reading Wednesday at 7 p.m. of his tome The Art of Racing in the Rain, which is told via the perspective of a dog owned by a racecar driver. And at the Barnes & Noble in the Gateway, former NFL great and Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker will be talking about raising awareness of mental illness at 6 p.m. He'll also be signing his book.

If you're politically inclined, or just like to heckle bloviating right wingers, note that congressional candidate (even though he doesn't know in what district) Carl Wimmer will be kicking it with the Utah Valley University College Republican club at an opening reception at 6 p.m, You might have to sneak in, but it could be worth some laughs.

The Utah Museum of Fine Arts is hosting a free screening of To Kill a Mockingbird at 6 p.m.

And you can dance if you want to at the Men Without Hats show at The Complex Wednesday night.
