From blight comes rebirth, or at least that’s the plan from the Salt Lake City Redevelopment Agency, which will be hosting an open house on a proposed plan for renovating North Temple tonight.---
With a light-rail line slated to connect the Salt Lake City Airport with the downtown area, North Temple Viaduct is due for a facelift and the RDA has now approved the current project area for renovation. The design plan is to improve the aesthetics and walkability of the now-under-construction viaduct. If North Temple is your home, your haunt, your place of business, or if you’re just concerned about how city money funds the redevelopment of the area, be sure to check out tonight’s open-house meeting, where RDA representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the project areas affected, and the project’s budget.
Check it out tonight, Tuesday, Aug. 16, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Day-Riverside Library, 1575 W. 1000 North.
