On a slow night for music, why not check out some inexpensive local theater?---

As part of the ongoing Monday series, Ballet Folklorico Citlali and Grupo la Mezkla will perform for free on the lawn in front of Chase Home Museum in Liberty Park at 7 p.m.

Such Stuff Productions presents William Shakespeare's Coriolanus, and admission is pay what you can, with all proceeds benefiting local charity Letters to Soldiers. One of Shakespeare's lesser-known, yet more political works, this is the story of a loyal soldier betrayed by his people, who then allies himself with his former enemy to destroy his home. The show will be at Canyon Rim Park Amphitheater.

In his Essential article, City Weekly A&E editor Scott Renshaw writes, “...in Utah, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ranks among the most ubiquitously produced shows for local stages.” This go-around sees Hale Center Theatre trying its hand at the Andrew Lloyd Wright favorite of Utahns. Tonight’s performance starts at 7:30 p.m.
