Maybe it’s just me, but whenever I listen to “chill wave” I want to stop what I’m doing, prop my feet up and drink a frozen margarita. It’s probably just the name of the musical movement more than the synthy, wavering tunes, but I can raise a glass to chill- wave frontrunner Washed Out and his newest and most excellent effort Within and Without.
