Two New Doctors Added to Discipline Database

Two new doctors have been added to City Weekly’s Doctor Discipline Database for the month of June-- both disciplined for their prescribing practices.---
James Eliot Pickens, a Bountiful doctor specializing in a hormone-based weight-loss program was disciplined in June by the Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing for “unprofessional and unlawful conduct” that resulted in license to practice being put on probation for three years and that forbid him from reapplying for a license to administer controlled substances for the next five years.
Paul W. Saxton was also dinged by DOPL, in a public reprimand for “unprofessional conduct” with respect to his prescribing practices.
