Claiming to be Salt Lake City’s first year-round adult sport and social league, it differentiates itself from the likes of WACA Kickball by offering a slew of games to choose from. The first competitive season will see upwards to 10 teams battling it out in the world of kickball. Touch football follows in the fall, with indoor dodgeball rounding out the year. If interest is high, Beehive hopes to eventually add to that list. Each game ends with an optional swill-and-grub session at various bars around town--including Gracie’s, Trolley Wing Company and Fat’s Grill and Bar--all of which will offer discounts to players.
Registration for kickball closes on June 27 and costs $50. The season begins on July 7 and, weather permitting, will end Labor Day weekend. For more information and registration, visit their website.
