Thirty years ago the MX Missiles Program’s installation in the Great Basin was defeated by local activists, now the next generation is continuing the fight to end nuclear weapons proliferation.---

This Saturday you can join a march and rally put on by the good peace-niks of the Utah Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (UCAN), to celebrate the victory over the MX deployment as well as the 15 year anniversary of the signing of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty by President Bill Clinton.

Show up, this Saturday, April 30 at 12 p.m. at the Unitarian Church at 569 S. 1300 East to take part in the 5k peace walk. The rally with speakers will be held at 3 p.m. at Washington Square, 451 S. State.
