Free-flowing American pilsner, thongs and rail jams (not an underwear reference)—it must be Naturday, Brighton’s annual shindig to close down their lifts for another season.---

For a huge throwdown as big as this year’s snowpack, head up Big Cottonwood this Saturday. Get there early to take some turns before the free 11 a.m. rail jam, sponsored by Neff, at the Milly Base Area. The annual Beach Bash includes the Naturday Fashion Show and a product toss. There’s usually loads of drinkers and skiers/rider in bikinis, weather permitting, which is always a lovely contrast of gear. For the kids, there’s beach games and bounce houses.

The resort is open all weekend, with the last day being Sunday. Lift tickets are $59, half-day tickets are $52, and if you have a season pass to another resort it’s $49.

So, get out this weekend and give it one more steezy shred. For more ideas about what to do while you’re up the canyon, check out our Best of the Canyons supplement in this year’s Best Of guide.
