This just in: Lunaprophet Glenn Beck (referred to by Gawker as “a vibrating knowledge-missile launched by Christ”) is parting ways with Fox News. Don’t get too excited: Beck still has the radio show, and he’ll be back on TV—count on it. ---

What’s new tonight:
Breaking In (Fox) Series Debut: After the single-season deaths of My Own Worst Enemy and The Forgotten, Christian Slater is coming back for more TV abuse—but this time, it’s a comedy, and it’s on Fox. Slater stars as the head of a specialized group that gets paid to break into companies—by the companies—to expose security flaws. Aiding Slater with the funny are Reaper’s Bret Harrison and The Whitest Kids U’Know’s Trevor Moore; Odette Yustman supplies the sizzle and Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum makes you wonder “Hey, isn’t that Lex Luthor?” Though a bit clunky at times, Breaking In has requisite laughs and action—which worked out so well for Human Target and The Good Guys, right Fox? Maybe don’t get too attached.

Extreme Couponing (TLC) Series Debut: Finally, a reality show about coupon-clippers. But, unlike most everything else on The Learning Channel these days, maybe you actually could learn something here. I predict this will be the biggest show in TLC history, and soon all the networks will be flooded with coupon shows. Hey, I don’t like it either.

Workaholics (Comedy Central) Series Debut: Three stoner-slacker roommates work together at a telemarketing firm. Hilarity does not ensue. Unless you also happen to be stoned at the time of viewing. But really, even that doesn’t help—just wait for Comedy Central’s next Office Space rerun; it should be along any minute now.

Also new tonight:
Mr. Sunshine, Off the Map (ABC); Survivor: Redemption Island, Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior (CBS); Minute to Win It, Law & Order: SVU (NBC); American Idol (Fox); America’s Next Top Model, Shedding for the Wedding (The CW); Dog the Bounty Hunter, Storage Wars (A&E); The Ultimate Fighter, Coal (Spike); Ghost Hunters (Syfy); Top Chef All-Stars Reunion (Bravo); Justified (FX)
