All of the weekend's Big Cable Premieres scored Big numbers: Starz's Camelot, AMC's The Killing, Showtime's The Borgias and even Reelz's sucktastic The Kennedys. Read: It's a slooow week for TV. ---
What's new tonight:
WWE 2011 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (USA) Sure, Shawn Michaels, Abdullah the Butcher and Bob Armstrong are all worthy inductees, but I'm most misty-eyed for the long-long-long-overdue recognition of one "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. His legend is simple: Dude was/is an unflashy, single-minded (possibly brain-damaged) crushing machine who carries a 2x4 and loves 'Merica. Sure, it would have made slightly more sense if he carried a hacksaw, but that's nitpicking. Why do you hate this country?
Also new tonight:
Dancing With the Stars, Castle (ABC); The Event, Harry's Law (NBC); The Chicago Code (Fox); Being Human, Stargate Universe (Syfy); Nurse Jackie, United States of Tara (Showtime)
Preview: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan is pure awesome; the tune is damned catchy:
