Looking to spend Oscar night with a few hundred friends this weekend? Join Utah's only gathering officially sanctioned by the Motion Picture Academy ---

On Sunday, Feb. 27, the Utah AIDS Foundation hosts its 21st annual "Oscar Night America," one of only 51 Academy Awards parties nationwide sanctioned by the Academy. The black-tie-optional (but festive attire encouraged) event at The Complex (536 W. 100 South) includes a buffet dinner provided by Frida Bistro, with cash bar and complimentary wine for parties that have purchased full tables. Individual tickets -- with all proceeds going to the Utah AIDS Foundation -- are $120 per. Don't miss your chance to support a great cause while watching those gold statuettes distributed.
