Talk about diversity! Utah music fans can choose between a bevy of fine choices Tuesday night, and it's safe to say none of the shows will be competing with each other for an audience.---
What does that mean? Well, if you're a fan of Buckcherry or HELLYeah, who are both playing on the Jagermeister tour stopping at the Great Saltair Tuesday night, I'm guessing you're not the target audience for the show at Cisero's in Park City, featuring the excellent traditional country of Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans (pictured).
Likewise, if you're a Buckcherry or Corb Lund fan, I'm guessing the X-Dance extreme sports festival awards-night show featuring Latino rockers Ozomatli and DJ extraordinaire Mixmaster Mike is probably not at the top of your list of to-dos, either.
All those shows should be worthy. Elsewhere, the Hive Gallery is hosting loveDANCEmore's latest project, dance-dance, a multi-media, dance-heavy installation. If you're in Logan, check out the ScrapArtsMusic project at the Ellen Eccles Theatre, a group of performers who use industrial scraps for percussive instruments. Hey, eco-friendly and ear-pleasing? We'll take it.
