TV Tonight: Conan, Ace of Cakes, Shit My Dad Says

Last night’s Obamapalooza stop in Tucson bumped Fox’s two-hour Human Target to Friday night—this news is just for me and the 12 other guys out there who watch it. ---

What’s new tonight:
Conan (TBS) Not only is Coco welcoming Ricky Gervais (pimping HBO’s Ricky Gervais Show and The Golden Globes; more on those tomorrow) and Kaitlin Olsen (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia), but also musical guests … Cheap Trick! That’s right, America’s greatest rock & roll band—fuck Aerosmith; you’ll never see Robin Zander or Rick Nielsen on American Idol. Maybe Bun E. Carlos, but he’s so cool that it doesn’t even matter.

Ace of Cakes (Food Network) Tonight, the Charm City Cakes crew bakes a concoction for Betty White, now finally visiting the one TV show she hasn’t guested on yet.

Shit My Dad Says (CBS) Why mention this? It’s one of the few new TV offerings on tonight; needed some filler. Besides, it’s the People’s Choice Award winner for Best New Comedy, and the People aren’t complete fucking morons who’d march into a burning Walmart if the circular told ‘em there was a sale on guns, ammo, Aerosmith CDs and Snuggies, are they?

Also new tonight:
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC); Million Dollar Money Drop (Fox); The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Bravo); Jersey Shore (MTV)

(Wishful) Preview: If Cheap Trick played this song on Conan tonight, I would fly to TBS and fellate Tyler Perry. Swear to god.
