Your bargain theater options are usually limited to big Hollywood films. This week, you can catch up on a couple of Sundance 2010 entries.---

Ryan Reynolds stars in the thriller Buried, which attempts a pretty impressive trick: Setting an entire 90 minute film in the box where the American civilian military contractor played by Reynolds is being held hostage. Points for degree of difficulty and style are in order, but the screenplay attempts to bury the story in a bit too much socio-political allegory. You can find it at the Cinemark Sugar House this week, along with Philip Seymour Hoffman directing and starring in the quirky romantic drama Jack Goes Boating.

And if you're looking for those big Hollywood films ... well, that's not exactly true of Skyline. According to our Eric D. Snider, it's a cheesy mashup of Cloverfield and Independence Day, without even interesting visual style to make up for its silly screenplay.
