To make up for not providing the season finale of Dexter (which I’ll just have to watch live like you commoners), Showtime sent me the entire Season 4 of Californication (premiering in January)! Squeal! More on that later. ---

What’s new tonight:
Glee (Fox) It’s Christmas at McKinley High—and probably Hanukkah, too (just sayin’). Apparently, Brittany still believes in Santa Claus, which leads to much hilarity and a song or 12 about Ol’ Saint Nick, and zero commentary on the effectiveness of the public school system.

Eureka (SyFy) Special Holiday Episode: Chris Parnell (SNL, 30 Rock) guest-stars as an evil doctor—but not Dr. Spacemen—who tries to steal a volatile experiment during the Global Dynamics Christmas party. Yes, an entire town of scientists and brainiacs are celebrating Christmas, if only for the sake of publicly-schooled civilians.

Warehouse 13 (SyFy) Special Holiday Episode: So what if the latest season of Warehouse 13 left on a contentious cliffhanger wherein Myka quit and walked out on the Warehouse? The gang’s all here tonight and tracking down a “bad Santa.” Continuity be damned!

In Treatment (HBO) Season Finale: About 164 episodes later, the third season of In Treatment finally comes to a close—think anyone’s therapy has paid off yet? Not Dr. Paul’s (Gabriel Byrne), who blames Dr. Adele (Amy Ryan) for all of the problems he’s had with his own patients. This is some circular racket they got goin' on …

Also new tonight:
No Ordinary Family, Detroit 187 (ABC); Minute to Win It, The Biggest Loser (NBC); Raising Hope, Running Wilde (Fox); One Tree Hill, Life Unexpected (The CW); Strange Days With Bob Saget (A&E); Glory Daze, Conan (TBS)

Preview: Rachel (Lea Michelle) does some Christmas crooning on Glee. Just go with it.
