TV Tonight: Modern Family, ANTM, Hellcats, The Daily Show

Why exactly did NBC’s Parenthood do their Halloween episode last week, when every other show is trick-or-treating this week? Burning off episodes as quickly as possible? Oh, and watch Terriers on FX tonight. ---

What’s on tonight:
Modern Family (ABC) Speaking of Halloween episodes, here’s the most-hyped one of all: For some reason, Claire expects the Dunphy clan to actually help out with trick-or-treaters and not fuck everything up—it’s like she’s never seen this show, but she does look pretty hot as Lady Gaga or the Bride of Frankenstein or whatever she’s going for. Meanwhile, Cameron reveals a traumatic childhood Halloween experience, and Gloria is pissed at Jay and Manny for making fun of her accent. Sure, it’s never come up before …

America’s Next Top Model (The CW) Designer Zac Posen stops by the beach house and informs the contestants that they’ll wearing his Fall 2010 collection—and some of the girls have actually heard of Zac Posen! Then, the models hit the beach on roller skates to shoot a commercial. Sadly, this just might be the week when top-heavy Esther (cup size G!) finally bites it.

Hellcats (The CW) The Hellcats’ struggle to get to nationals continues, as they throw a date auction to raise money, and all kinds of rivalries and jealousies flare up—oh, drama! Think we’ll ever get back to that subplot where law student Marti is working to get a wrongly-accused man out of prison again? Yeah, me neither.

The Daily Show With Jon Stewart (Comedy Central) Tonight’s guest is President/Socialist Antichrist Barack Obama. Will Stewart ask the tough questions or fold like a cheap Liberal Media suit? And how will The Colbert Report top this? With guest Apolo Anton Ohno, of course.
