Another week and no further cancellations in the 2010-11 season—but, ABC’s My Generation (just canceled) and NBC’s Outlaws look as dead as Lone Star. As does our first entry …---

What’s new this weekend:
The Good Guys (Fox, tonight) Viewers Needed: The outlook’s not good for this spring/summer holdover, a damned funny buddy-cop show about Dallas detectives Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks) and Dan Stark (Bradley Whitford and his mustache), not to mention the hottest assistant D.A. on television (Jenny Wade). Sure, The Good Guys’ caseload has been a bit same-y since the pilot ep, but it still contains more genuine comedy than most of CBS’ “comedy” lineup. Catch it while you can.

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret (IFC, tonight) Series Debut: Read True TV.

Teach: Tony Danza (A&E, tonight) Series Debut: Keep reading True TV.

Also new Friday:
Medium, CSI:NY, Blue Bloods (CBS); Outlaw (NBC); Smallville, Supernatural (The CW); Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Cartoon Network); Haven (SyFy); Real Time With Bill Maher (HBO); The Soup (E!)

CSI: Miami (CBS, Sunday) Season Premiere: David Caruso & Co. move to Sundays (thanks to Hawaii 5-0) and, as with damned near every CSI: Miami season premiere, somebody on the team’s gotta die. Hmmm, Emily Proctor did just get herself knocked up …

Mad Men (AMC, Sunday) Last week, we learned that Sterling Cooper Draper Price is fucked—Lucky Strike is walking, and Don’s too much of a Panicky Franny to take on a lucrative guv’ment client. Now what? If you’re Peggy, you hit the beach with your bohemian pals and your future lesbian life partner. Never mind the dude hitting on her. Seriously.

Eastbound & Down (HBO, Sunday) In last Sunday’s season premiere, Kenny Fucking Powers made his triumphant return to baseball. Well, Mexican baseball—but the Charros are going to promote the hell out of this “Powders” guy. Meanwhile, Kenny learns a secret about the girl he left behind, April. Did she have a hair-conditioner connection she never shared?

Also new Sunday:
Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters (ABC); The Amazing Race, Undercover Boss (CBS); American Dad (Fox) Season Premiere; The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show, Family Guy (Fox); Boardwalk Empire, Bored to Death (HBO); Rubicon (AMC); Sister Wives (TLC); Dexter (Showtime); Metalocalypse (Adult Swim)
