You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll question your sanity at the end of it all: It's a weekend's worth of entertainment tips.---

No time to dilly-dally. Check out some good times worth your time:

Saturday

The Salt Lake Art Center is hosting the 8th annual Salt Lake Muslim Multicultural Festival from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with performances by the Kensin Taiko drummers, the mariachi band, art exhibits and assorted games, food and activities. And it's free!

Saturday night, The Devil Whale and Future of the Ghost top a bill of fine local tunes at 9 p.m. at The Urban Lounge, while Bobcat Goldthwait (pictured), one of my personal faves, headlines at the West Valley City Wiseguys.

Saturday night also marks the 20th birthday of the Trapp, and they're having a big ol' party to celebrate at 7 p.m., which would be a nice preamble to Picklepalooza, an art and music fiesta at The Pickle Company Saturday night.

Sunday

If you miss Alexis Gideon performing at Picklepalooza—and you should read our profile of him here—check him out Sunday night at Slowtrain, where he'll be doing his indescribable blend of music and video art.
