This week former SLC Mayor Rocky Anderson announced that his human rights group the High Road for Human Rights had teamed up with non profit Child Rescue to put on an all-day music festival at Thanksgiving Point on Aug. 21. The concert is denied to turn the volume up on public awareness and outrage over sex trafficking that occurs in the United States and Canada. Besides an all day lineup of national headliners and local favorites the event will feature global food booths, a skatepark, rock climbing wall and much more.
General admission tickets cost $40 but all proceeds go to benefit efforts to fight child trafficking.
