The Salt Lake Film Society -- operators of the Broadway Centre Cinemas and Tower Theatre -- is offering a one-day-only discount on its 2010 membership of only $20. Regularly $50, this part-year deal (membership expires Jan. 29, 2011) includes two complimentary movie tickets, four discount admissions, two free Tower Theatre movie rentals, a T-shirt, invitation to member screenings and more. Even if you only make use of the movie tickets -- heading into the fall "prestige movie" season -- it's a terrific deal in support of a non-profit that makes films available locally you'd never see in a theater otherwise.
