The Exterminator's Want-Ad

Got a few minutes? Read this bit of futuristic -topian prose (either dys- or u-, depending on your point of view) by Bruce Sterling. ---Told from the point of view of a capitalist stooge imprisoned after an environmental collapse followed by a socialist revolution, it's the scary future that radical, Mike Lee-type right-wingers should be envisioning.
Spoiler alert: The open-source, collaborative, tech-savvy hippies win; and the selfish, crazy, hateful bastards lose.
Personally, I think I'd be rather fond of the "night-soil buckets and vegetarian okra casseroles" lifestyle.
