This summer is shaping up to be one of the better seasons for hip, happening music festivals. Newly reformed Pavement can be found on nearly every lineup, so maybe I jumped the gun a bit scoring a pair of tickets to their NYC gig which I feared would be the only U.S. appearance in 2010. Ha! Oh well, I hear Central Park is lovely that time of year

Today, organizers announced the all-star Sasquatch lineup and boy is it a doozy.--- I'll definitely be taking a road trip Memorial Day weekend. I'm especially excited to see The National, Caribou, Broken Social Scene, Massive Attack and LCD Soundsystem (though it might be hard to top their random Thanksgiving Point gig with Arcade Fire a few years back).
