Join the Geeks Who Drink

Have you been longing to join your love of trivia with your love of alcohol? Geeks Who Drink want you -- whether as a follower, or as a leader. ---
Geeks Who Drink was launched in Colorado in 2005 by one-time City Weekly freelance contributor John Dicker and Joel Peach. Their multimedia "pub quizzes" subsequently spread to New Mexico, Texas, Virginia and Washington, and will be launching at Piper Down here in Salt Lake City on April 7.
That means they're going to need "quizmasters," described by Dicker as "someone who is good at talking to crowds and isn't afraid to keep a room full of drunks in line." The gig pays $50 a night plus $25 bar tab for three hours of work. Visit the Website for additonal information.
