Oscars 2010: Documentary Nominees at the Library

Problem: You want to pick the Oscar winners with your film-buff pals, but you haven't seen all the documentary features. Solution: SLC Film Center screenings the week of Feb. 22. ---

While nominees Food Inc., Burma VJ and The Cove all got local theatrical showings, a couple of other titles on the just-announced list -- The Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers and Which Way Home -- probably aren't ringing any bells. But the SLC Film Center, coincidentally, has both films on its schedule of screenings at the downtown Main Library a couple of weeks before the Oscars broadcast. On Monday, Feb. 22, you can catch up with Which Way Home; then, on Thursday the 25th, see The Most Dangerous Man in America. And you'll be all ready to pick with confidence.

Now about those shorts ...
