Sundance 2010: Locals Best Bets for Tuesday

Sometimes we know just where to point you. Tuesday night requires a bit more guesswork. ---

In a scheduling fluke, City Weekly contributors haven't been able to see any of the films showing in SLC tonight (with the exception of the Whit Stillman 1990 "Sundance Collection" entry Metropolitan). If you were a fan of the documentary Spellbound, you might be psyched for the new doc from director Jeffrey Blitz, who looks at the players--and winners--of the lottery in Lucky. Word has also been moderately positive for Blue Valentine, a drama that moves back and forth in time in the troubled marriage of a young couple (Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams). If our readers want to offer their own recommendations, please do so on our film festival main page.
