Conan O'Brien is done at NBC, and all signs point to Satan's Chin Jay Leno returning as the host of The Tonight Show. Next week will be Coco's last, winding up on Friday Jan. 22 before heading into repeats (as planned before the Peacock Clusterfuck) and then the Winter Olympics for most of February. But then what? ---

For one thing, Carson Daly will still have a gig! As for programming anyone besides Carson Daly cares about, NBC has released its post-Olympics primetime schedule and, for a network that's screwed up so royally/fatally recently, it looks promising. First of all, the sundry Law & Orders will move back in their rightful 9 p.m. timeslots (now vacated by The Chin), Thursdays are remaining intact (with an iffy new Jerry Seinfeld-produced "reality comedy" capping the night at 9--again, at least it's not The Chin), and ex-Gilmore Girl Lauren Graham will be back on TV (in Parenthood). Dig:

Mondays
7-8 p.m. Chuck (March 1)
8-9 p.m. Trauma (March 8)
9-10 p.m. Law & Order (March 1)

Tuesdays
7-9 p.m. The Biggest Loser (March 2)
9-10 p.m. Parenthood (New, March 2)

Wednesdays
7-8 p.m. Mercy (March 3)
8-9 p.m. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Reruns, March 3)
9-10 p.m. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (March 3)

Thursdays (All March 4)
7-7:30 p.m. Community
7:30-8 p.m. Parks & Recreation
8-8:30 p.m. The Office
8:30-9 p.m. 30 Rock
9-10 p.m. The Marriage Ref (New, from Jerry Seinfeld)

Fridays
No one gives a shit.

Saturdays
No one gives a shit.

Sundays
7-8 p.m. Minute to Win It (New, March 14)
8-10 p.m. The Celebrity Apprentice (March 14)

Despite having hated all of the Parenthood movies with a white-hot spite I now reserve for Jay Leno and NBC exec Jeff MotherZucker, the TV version looks damned funny--mostly thanks to Graham, who replaced that downer Maura Tierney at the last minute. But, it also has Peter Krause, Erika Christensen, Monica Potter, Dax Shepard and Craig T. Nelson. That's a hell of a cast; I'm tempted to say not even NBC could fuck this one up, but ...
