Blasts From the Past: MST3K & KITH

Remember the '90s, kids? No? While you were preoccupied with being babies and navigating kindergarten, some of us were working diligently at perfecting beer-bong technology and watching obscure, sarcastic TV. Now that you're bored and unemployed like we were, you can relive the magic of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and The Kids In the Hall! ---

First, Hulu.com has posted a few episodes of the classic Comedy Central/Sci-Fi series Mystery Science Theater 3000, about an astronaut sentenced to watch bad movies with a pair of obnoxious robots. Hey, it was the '90s--at least we weren't watching karaoke shows. Here's Secret Agent Super Dragon:

Secondly, The Kids In the Hall, a Canadian comedy troupe who made some inroads into American TV in the '90s (including an ill-fated CBS run), have produced a new murder-mystery series called Death Comes to Town. Judging by this trailer, it could be even funnier than Brain Candy (you had to be there):
