Friday night we will welcome back the first of our injured shooting guards, CJ Miles.--- The other missing guard, Kyle Korver, is a game time decision. The good news will help the team, but it will also make the coaches jobs harder and take away some of the other player’s minutes. Their return will mostly effect Wesley Matthew’s and Ronnie Brewer’s minutes, but it could also lower Eric Maynor’s. Maynor has played a lot of his minutes along side Deron Williams, while Deron filled the shorthanded shooting guard position. With CJ and possibly Kyle back, he may not need to do that anymore, which means Eric’s role could change. The double point guard line up won’t be needed nearly as much, and probably won’t happen unless someone else gets injured, or the team needs some kind of lift in a game. Both rookies have been playing very well, and its hard to think of them as just the ones who had to fill in for the injured guys. They have made the difference in a lot of games so far, and gave our team a lift when most of us thought it would be a disaster. They have both earned their minutes, but the other guys have the experience. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want Jerry Sloan’s job right now.

It will be interesting to see who starts tomorrow, and how the team chemistry flows with one or two players who haven’t even practiced with the team this season.
