Dollhouse Burn-off Begins Tonight

Last month, Fox finally canceled Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, but the network says the show's thousand-odd fans will get all 13 episodes of Season 2 and a series conclusion come Jan. 22. Starting tonight, Fox begins burning 'em off two at a time ... what, no more Brothers or Til Death?! ---

Expect to see more guests drifting in from the Whedonverse, including Firefly/Serenity (and don't forget Terminator ... oh, you already have) star Summer Glau as a personality-wiper for the Washington D.C. branch of the Dollhouse--it's been hinted that it's a worldwide organization; I wouldn't be surprised if the Dollhouse isn't wholesaling defective imprints to MTV reality shows (The next Real World is set in D.C., and have you seen Jersey Shore? These people can't be real).

The Dollhouse Twofer Fridays run through December, narrowing down to singles in January. After that, we Eliza Dushku fans--Dushkites, if you will--are stuck with our Tru Calling and Soul Survivors DVDs. Sad, sad state of affairs.

Here, Dushku explains what the hell is going on in the final stretch of the final season:
