"St. Draper Rams" Limbaugh/Checkets gift?

The NFL coming to a Ward near you!---

The first big laugh I got was seeing Rush, (as in druggie) Limbaugh connected to our very own Dave Checketts in their pursuit of purchasing the St. Louis Rams of the NFL.  After all the crazy gyrations Checketts went through to get Sandy, Salt Lake County and finally the State to cobble together a deal that would give him a stadium for his soccer team without spending any of his own money, I see now why he was saving up.

Checketts and his sports company own the St. Louis Blues hockey team and he wants to expand his sports empire by acquiring the Rams.  As always it would take somebody else's check book and connections for Checketts to come up with the $930 million that the team is valued at.  Just think how much they would be worth if they could win a game for Christ sakes?

Limbaugh has made it no secret that he would love to be in the club of NFL owners so Checketts saw his mark.  Limbaugh makes $40 million a year and signed a $400 million contract with his syndicator for 8 years.  Now the sports radio stupid rumors have ramped up their speculation that Checketts love of Utah will prompt him to move the Rams here and some shit-for-brains have said that there is a plot all staked out in Draper for an NFL size stadium.  Quickly, repeat after me....BULLSHIT!  This ain't going to happen even if Checketts and Limbutt actually get permission from the NFL to buy the Rams.  To add to this circus, Al Sharpton, The Rev, is making a stink about Limbaugh because he says Rush is a racist.  Well for once I have to agree with crazy Al.  That is why Rush got canned from ESPN a few years ago after only on Sports Central a couple of weeks.

As I said, even though this is all BULLSHIT, it will be fun watching the locals go around and around on the prospect.
