The Life on State working group has after five months of input, workshops and deliberating created some early draft scenarios on ways to revitalize State Street. Collaborating with architects and engineers the group has looked at the possibility of creating walkable plazas at key areas of the street.--- Other scenarios will consider ways to strengthen the appeal of the grand old drag. The goal is to make the street more than just a stripe of asphalt running down the county, but a road that binds and revitalizes the homes, businesses and communities around it.

The early drafts are in so come check them out and give your opinion. Tonight, Oct. 6 Skylight Lounge at the Salt Lake Community College South City Campus 1575 S State Street at 6 p.m. For more info check out lifeonstate.org
