Utah Poverty Summit

Eventually this stagnant economy is going to un-eff itself--at least that’s what the economists in Washington tell us. Until then, why not come to the sixth annual Utah Poverty Summit this Saturday, and learn how to help ease the squeeze of this recession on low-income Utah families.--- County Mayor Peter Corroon will be the keynote speaker at the summit, which will consider topics like how the coming healthcare bill will protect the health of low-income Utahns, how to protect vital social services from the budgetary chopping block and more. The event is free and open to the public with a free lunch included.
