TV Tonight: Accidentally on Purpose

With so much good TV premiering tonight, it'd be a shame if you subjected yourself to CBS' gawdawful sitcom Accidentally on Purpose because you didn't feel like flipping the channel between How I Met Your Mother and Two & a Half Men. Just stab yourself in the eye with a shrimp fork for 30 minutes to pass the time; you'll be better off. ---

Premise: A freewheeling newspaper movie critic (ha!) has a drunken one-night stand with a younger man, then finds herself pregnant--but wait, the hilarity doesn't stop there! She not only decides to have the baby (because the paper biz is going to rebound any minute now), but keep the young stud, as well. Twelve more episodes may or may not ensue. Besides the "freewheeling" part, the only thing remotely funny about Accidentally on Purpose is star Jenna Elfman's hair. It's a goofy rat's nest that screams "Why yes, I did just fuck a complete stranger bareback--I'm a freewheeling newspaper movie critic!"

Freewheeling Deseret News TV critic Scott Pierce, Salt Lake's only other television scribe, wrote this review today. Seriously. For this shit below:
