Festa do Brasil

During the mid-80s, I spent a great deal of time in Brazil, studying capoeira and (theoretically) working on a PhD in anthropology. --- So I have a fondness and saudade for all things Brazilian. If you enjoy Brazilians and Brazilian culture, you'll want to drop in to the Gateway this Saturday, Sept. 19, for the 5th Annual Utah Brazilian Festival, which runs from 1-6 PM.
Starting at 1:00, a Brazilian-style carnival parade will wind its way through the Gateway, followed by live music and dancing on two stages. And of course, Brazilian cuisine will be featured, provided in part by Tucanos Brazilian Grill.
Vamos ter uma festa!
