Please Keep Off the Grass

On Monday night, with less than 2 minutes to play, Buffalo’s kick return man, Leodis McKelvin… ---

... ran the ball out on a return, when clearly he should have downed the ball in the end zone. He fumbled. The Patriots recovered and scored the game winning touchdown. McKelvin became the goat.

After the game, an obscenity and the score of the game -- a 25-24 loss to the Patriots -- were painted in white on the player's lawn at his home in suburban Buffalo. McKelvin shrugged it off, saying he doesn't want anyone arrested and still considers Bills fans to be the greatest.

"It's just one little incident. I hope it doesn't happen again," McKelvin said. "I was mad, I was kind of angry in a way, but I was laughing a little bit for what they put on there. It was just something that isn't appropriate."

He was, however, impressed by a neighbor, who got out his lawn mower and cut the grass in bid to erase what had been painted on the lawn.

Buffalo fans… THIS IS THE LINE THAT SEPARATES FAN FROM FANATIC! I get it, it’s freezing. That doesn’t mean you light your house on fire to warm your hands.
