Sen. Hatch pays lyrical tribute to Ted Kennedy.---

The passing of Sen. Ted Kennedy has dominated news sites all day, and pretty much anyone who can provide commentary is providing commentary. I am not one of those people. I never met or even covered anything remotely connected to Kennedy, except for Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch. The friendship of the two men is legendary, and many, many articles have been written about it.

There is also a lot of commentary about what the passing of Kennedy means, especially for health care reform. Some say his bartering skills will cost the Democrats the debate, others say that health care reform can now become a tribute to Kennedy and will regain momentum.

There are so many news sites with stories, opinion, and pictures that I will not link to any particular one. Go to you preferred source. Even if it's Entertainment Tonight, there will be stories. Instead, I am going to leave you with a link to an expected musical tribute from Hatch, and I will do so without snide comment or snarky summary. I link, nothing more. The song is accompanied by this note:

You don't have to agree with everyone's politics...none of us agree 100% of the time. But you have to admire a lifetime dedicated to public service and improving the lives of others -- and that is just one of the many things that made Ted great. I think this song captures a small part of Ted's legacy of service.
