Last week, we suggested DVD rentals for the anniversary of the first moon landing, honoring three men who risked their lives by launching into space. This week, how about a DVD rental to honor another man who risked his life by launching into space? ---

Today marks the 35th anniversary of aerialist Philippe Petit's daring, thoroughly unauthorized tightrope walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centery on Aug. 7, 1974. The remarkable feat was chronicled in last year's Oscar-winning documentary Man on Wire, now available on DVD. If you somehow managed to miss this fascinating combination of heist thriller and historical retrospective, give it a look and raise a toast to Petit and company.
