AC Slater at W Lounge

With Jimmy Fallon working on a Saved By The Bell reunion for Late Night, AC Slater might just tap into an audience of pop-culture fanatics who might not otherwise experience his Big Brooklyn Bass. Slater (Aaron Clevenger) is no Mario Lopez, but as a much sought-after producer holds his own in the clubs and the recording studio where he’s remixed tracks by Moby, Mightyfools, Sepalot and others. Slater also lays down original material—look for his EP due out on Trouble & Bass. Jam to search—“Calm Down,” a syrupy bite of old-school dubstep.
