Albums, Albums Galore!

As pointed out earlier today, we've got a ton of festivals and concerts coming your way this summer, and in fact this week is also packed with album releases across the board! First up, we go north to Ogden where tonight the metal group Flux puts out their freshman album Into The Flood over at Mojo's. Backed by a slew of supporting groups, you're getting six bands for just $8. Safe to say, it'll be a packed house up there tonight.

Meanwhile down in SLC, The Hotel plays host to a rare album release party on the upper floor. One of Park City's residing DJ's, Brooklyn Earick will be spinning his new album, which as you can tell was heavily sponsored by Rise Nightlife. Work on it has been kept pretty secret, to the point where I don't even have an album name for it. So if you're a dance club lover and are up for a surprise, be at The Hotel.

Then down the street SLUG Magazine puts on another of its Localized showcases, which will also serve as the album release party for David Williams. Following up to last year's enchantingly loving Summer, Williams brings us the simply titled Wyoming, which looks to be an impressive and comforting follow-up. Joining him on the bill tonight at Urban Lounge will be Band Of Annuals and Will Sartain. Just five bucks for that show!

So go out, no excuses, no sitting at home, none of that homebody crap. Get to a show, love local, and grab yourself an album.
