Happy Fathers Day
I had a most excellent Fathers Day having lunch with my daughter Gina and my most wonderful grand kids.
It's times like these that the world makes sense even if only for a short time. I wish all fathers out there have as good a time as I being reminded of what is really important in life and we sometimes get so wrapped up in our lives doing whatever the hell we do that there is always something more important and usually it is right in front of our eyes only we just don't see it.
I wish I had another chance to say Happy Fathers Day to Sal. He has been long gone but I think he knows and he would have said something like, "Thank you, if it wern't for you I wouldn't have to celebrate today". Sal had a great sense of humor, too bad it didn't rub off!
