Nurse Wretched

If you have room for only one TV RN in your life, make it Showtime's Nurse Jackie and stay far away from TNT's Hawthorne (I'm not spelling it HawthoRNe, either).
Tonight, TNT is really overplaying its tough-broads-in-public-service card; The Closer and Saving Grace are both headlined by real actresses (even if Holly Hunter is waaay over the top in the latter), and Jada Pinkett Smith is no match for either, except maybe in the Gigantic Hair Dept. Hell, even husband Will is a more convincing thespian. I know--ouch.
